About the firm

The control stack that makes transactions work.

Frontier Capital Advisors is a Delaware-registered advisory and programme management firm headquartered in New York with on-ground presence in Lagos, Nigeria. We originate, structure, and arrange financing for established companies and public-sector borrowers across Africa.

Our role sits between the borrower and a network of regulated institutional capital providers domiciled in North America and Europe. We design the structure, coordinate documentation and due diligence, manage the financing process through to close, and oversee the programme post-disbursement. Capital flows directly from regulated institutional sources to the borrower. Frontier does not sit in the flow of funds.

We are not a bank, not a fund, and not a broker-dealer. We are the control stack that makes transactions work.

Atmospheric architectural scene with warm light
"The spread between local lending rates and our institutional pricing, compounded over the life of a facility, is the single biggest reason to work with us."
— Frontier Capital Advisors
Why Frontier

Three reasons governments and corporates choose us.

01

Cost of capital advantage

African borrowers routinely face local lending rates of 25–30% per annum. Frontier clients access institutional capital at indicative rates well below regional benchmarks, with pricing confirmed at term sheet stage based on credit profile and available enhancement. That spread, compounded over the life of a facility, is the single biggest reason to work with us.

02

Control-first architecture

Every programme is built on a ring-fenced SPV structure with independent collateral management, controlled cash accounts, delivery-versus-payment settlement, and documented step-in rights. The control stack protects both lender and borrower from day one.

03

Institutional network

We arrange financing through a mapped capital network spanning DFIs, EM private credit funds, syndication platforms, and credit enhancement providers across North America, Europe, and the multilateral system. Network composition disclosed under NDA during the engagement phase.
